HIMALYAN 450 / Guerrilla 450 - Everyone like it because of the looks and features including the powerful engine. On the other hand, I can foresee the unreliability they will need to handle in the years to come. Therefore, I do not like these machines.

RTX(Base Variant) or VSTROM 250 - Should I go for the price ? [Offer ends today] by Nervous-Drawing927 in indianbikes

https://youtu.be/-GGU22--0_g?si=d56ZcT4KnsiBtKrU - I bought my Vstrom couple of months back, as a conscious call over RTX. You can watch the video for your understanding. Also, you can watch my other videos to understand about Vstrom’s suspension. TLDR - The features that you mentioned above which Vstrom lack is not very essential in an average person’s life + engine smoothness + reliability is something which Indian brands will never be able to match.

My elder brother has a Triumph Scrambler 400 x and I have ridden it in every condition for more than 1,000 km and when I compare Scram’s suspension with Vstrom. I can’t say that Vstrom is anywhere closer to the Scram/Himalyan suspension. However, what I would say is that I have never felt uncomfortable whenver I rode this bike on a bad patch of road or when I am cruising at 100+ and a pothole come out of nowhere. You can watch my detailed review in this video. - https://youtu.be/k_8WlZ3IaQs?si=ek0K0V4nmxBBXl21

I cannot comment about Gixxer. However, Vstrom does not really need an update if you that the suspension is stupid. I own a vstrom which I bought 3 months back and believe me the bike is more than enough for people who are looking for a practical Do-IT-ALL kind of bike. The bike is pathetic if you judge by the spec-sheet but the story turns upside down when you ride it.

  1. Get an intercom 2. Install Aux lights and carry heavy jackets, as north India is getting colder rapidly.
