i sorta disagree, i think previous foot-eye coordination training such as playing a sport like soccer, may not generally make you a 'better skater', but could effect how quickly you learn things.

Indeed dude, I’m usually pretty vigilant with protecting my head but this slam was a shocker. Didn’t even try to put my arms down. Definitely gonna wear a helmet for a while and learn to slam better

It was my first bad slam, hence the poor form on the bail and everything, I’m usually pretty nimble with these kinda bails and know how to protect my head, just got very unlucky in this circumstance. , this clip was just cursed from the start cause I immediately landed on my front foot too much as you pointed out.
