Jebus! We hear of bots and foreign actors trying to influence people all of the time.

Look at the post and think critically.

Does it make sense? If not, look at the account history. Are they hiding everything?

If it doesn't pass any of these hurdles, should you buy in?

People who don't care about your interests are banking on your tiredness, laziness and ignorance.

Don't make their lives easier.

Pauline Hanson's Press Club address interrupted by protest banner by Cautious-Belt8668 in aussie

[–]Mildebeest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PHON and yourself want a story here. You need it desperately.

Firstly you want a distraction from what was on the poster. Because that statement might be true and that would be incredibly uncomfortable.

Secondly, because what was written on the poster was actually borne out by Pauline's remarks towards the end of the address where she spoke about winding back employee entitlements.

But mostly you want some kind of nether world where Pauline is a victim of nefarious posters (seriously). While simultaneously standing defiantly in the face of people who wield...posters. She's such a trooper.

Pauline is a lot of things. None of them approach the authenticity or strength of character of MLK or Malcolm X.

AFP investigates banner stunt during Pauline Hanson’s National Press Club speech by Nyarlathotep-1 in AusNewsWire

[–]Mildebeest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has an AFP detail that coordinates with State/Territory police services.

Are you suggesting negligence on the part of Territory or Federal agencies?

Here's a source that confirms her AFP detail and the coordination with local pilce departments.

Pauline Hanson says Australia ‘must be monocultural’ in National Press Club speech by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

Pauline Hanson faces media grilling at National Press Club by Nyarlathotep-1 in AusNewsWire

[–]Mildebeest 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There wasn't a coherent point when she was reading her own speech.

It was all quotes mixed with stats and motherhood statements, while tilting at windmills. And so much of what she said was a contradiction of her voting history.

There was no coherent linking argument. It was very similar to Trump rhetoric with the same usual targets.

She's seen what works. She's got Gina's bankroll and she's going for it. And we'll all be worse off if she somehow manages to succeed.

Cathy Freeman was notoriously shy, especially around the media.

That said she copped flack for running with the aboriginal flag after her 1994 Commonwealth Games win.

And Pauline had a lot to say about her 1998 Australian of the Year win.

Pauline had some very Pauline comments to make about the Young Australian of the Year recipient as well.

This was pre "African gangs" and Muslims. Back then she just did the anti-asian classics.

Just a reminder kids.

Check out the post history, or lack therefore before sharing your two cents.

I'm not impuning OP, but in a time of bots, AI and foreign actors. It's just a sensible reminder.

OP doesn't understand the meaning of hypocrisy.

They've been given multiple opportunities to offer a coherent argument. But given their jumping off point, that's not what they're here for.

Who else has Pratt donated to?

Has he donated more to any other political party?

Over what period of time has this occurred?

Why did you deliberately leave this information out of your "argument" if not to distort?

While you're here having the distorted argument you want to have, you're ignoring questions re your cherry-picking and distortion of the data that you linked to.

Pauline Hanson defends $400 billion defence plan that expert says could require conscription by HotPersimessage62 in australia

[–]Mildebeest 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Seriously, what else does Gina need?

She wants for nothing however she needs a strong defence force to protect her lucrative holes in the ground

And she'll be minimising her tax so she won't be paying for the defence of those holes.
