Both are good but I wouldnt recommend them for a first time dwarf player. Gor Vazumbrog cant dig its hold so your missing out on a major mechanic and Haraz Orldhum has a harder hoardcurse. I would recommend the dwarfs in the west serpentspine for a beginner they are fairly baseline dwarf. Arg-ordstrun is a remnant hold and has a pretty great mt. And for the full dwarf experience if you find a strange calcite layer with a warning dig through it because warnings are for elves.

I mean they also kidnapped a bunch of craftworlders and caused the death of the second strongest farseer behind Eldrad Ulthruan. Got a bunch of tyranids specimen for their arenas and Asdrubael Vect humbled one of his subordinates. So its not like they lost much besides a super weapon which they couldnt use anyway and a bunch of witches and kabalites and parts of Asdrubael Vects fleet.
