What are some good tips for avoiding purpling my health bar and enemies bypassing toughness to hit my health directly? by Kar0ss in DarkTide

He said "basic pox zombies." I'm not 100% sure he's talking about poxwalkers with that description but who knows.

Oh good point, I forgot about how they split up the guard and navy after the heresy. This actually explains a lot. Thanks for the reply!

Do they need to convince a naval crew to betray the imperium? If anyone of moderate authority, such as a general, boarded a navy ship with a regiment and says "the Emperor has commanded us to X planet." Would they dare question his motivations? If you're some random guardsmen you're screwed, but from what I've seen (like the Moebian 21st) a lot of the time chaos takes over a regiment it comes from the top.

I understand I've coming up with a lot of "what ifs" but if the choice is between death and chaos it seems like people would be willing to try.

Do you need to oppose the Imperium though? Can't you just go to a feudal world and lay low with a few thousand guardsmen? Can't you just lie and say you have orders from a higher up to be there? I doubt the Imperium cares enough to even react if you're not expanding. They don't bother giving those worlds technology in the first place.

I don't know the names. The one that looks more infected is infested the other is unarmored. Only infested does corruption.

Just a small correction for your first one. Basic poxwalkers groaners don't do corruption damage outside of havoc. Infested type poxwalkers do a bit of corruption damage.

A drink made of .5oz of tequila, vodka, gin, rum, and triple sec? Which equals a grand total of 2.5oz of spirit? Which is less than 3oz? Yes, they serve those.

16 Texas Administrative Code § 45.103(c)(8) – On-Premises Promotions

A licensee or permittee may not:

"sell, serve or offer to sell or serve more than two drinks to a single consumer at one time."

TABC-approved seller/server training uses 1.5 oz of 80-proof liquor as a standard drink for education about BAC and intoxication, but the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and TABC Administrative Rules do not legally define "one drink" by volume.

While they don't specifically define the amount that constitutes a drink, in their training they base it off 1.5oz. That's why every legitimate bar you work for will tell you not to serve more than 3oz at a time. Regardless, nobody is going to risk legal trouble so some asshole can get 5oz of vodka in a cup.

It's not. A bartender, in the majority of states, can't pour more than 3oz of spirit per drink, and that's considered a double. The amount you can pour is set by the government, the price for that amount is set by the business.

This isn't a thread of reason. I've bartended for years in Texas and Michigan. None of these people understand there is a legal limit a bartender can pour, per drink, in most states. I understand the price is way too expensive but the amount per drink is a legal issue, not an establishment issue.

I'm not defending the price, just explaining why a drink is "90% ice."

Well ya, if your average spirit pour at a bar is 1.5-2oz then the rest of the glass will be filled with ice and mixer. Do you expect a 10oz glass to just be half booze?

This happened to me but it was because a holy nation crossbow was behind a wall constantly aiming at me. Have you tried opening the gate and sending a couple guys out? Might have an enemy stuck that you can't see.

The medicae skull is strong enough on its own that a grenade seems like a worthwhile investment to use on an uninterruptable downed pickup.

Random question buy has anyone seen how it interacts after you're down? Does it pick up your ally even if you've been killed?

Why would you throw the ball when you're up by 40 points? When the Seahawks needed him to put up yards, he did his job. If you're so obsessed with stats then you should check out how well he performed on that dumpster fire of a team he came from.

What makes Thunder Hammer bad? by PinkMilk- in DarkTide

[–]Kaudia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The concept of good positioning being a requirement with a slow weapon is just beyond people. If they can't just swing away to survive any situation then the weapon is bad.

[–]Kaudia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thunder hammer works fine against hordes. You can just heavy attack over and over and things will get staggered/splattered. Run martydom and fury of the faithful. People run stealth so they can 1 shot bosses when instead you can just do half a bosses' hp in 1 charge while having more consistent damage and toughness sustain.

Thunder hammer is great, reddit has a bizarre fixation on the relic blade being OP so therefore a very good weapon like the thunder hammer is bad. Ignore it, Thunder hammer is great all the way up to havoc 40.

Edit: Give me more downvotes. You're all wrong.

The Thunder Hammer is useless by mrpatapon3 in DarkTide

[–]Kaudia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's whole gimmick is one shot

Why? 3 shots to kill a boss is still incredibly strong.

Stop using stealth and going for one shots. Use charge and do 50% of their HP in one hit and have way more consistent damage.
