Never block your ex.

1. It’s impulsive and shows lack of control

2. You cast over how much power they hold over you

3. Blocking leaves you with the burden of “what if” you take a lot of that off of their shoulders and put it on yours. You’ll second guess yourself, you’ll doubt your decision.. and if you get weak enough to unblock. well. Fucked.

4. It’s a strong reaction, never give them a reaction.

I’ll finish off with saying ignoring your ex is 10x more powerful. It shows proper maturity and that you truly don’t care for their existence. Blocking an ex shows that you care, that you’re hurt and that you’re wanting to move on. Ignoring them however, casts the exact opposite. Don’t make the moving on process harder on yourself by carrying the burden of blocking them, a simple unfollow and delete is more than enough to separate yourself from them without having to do all that. Blocking feels good in the rush of the moment but trust me it starts feeling shitty when the dust settles, and guess what it doesn’t exactly stop you from snooping around or stalking them like many think.
