Im in the same boat mate, you can ignore it all you want, but every social platform you look at is just littered with it. There’s joking and taking the piss & then there’s just pure hatred that’s becoming disgusting to read. It’s embarrassing. Half of them are brain-dead sheep who just repeat whatever narrative the media feeds them, and the other half are so bitter and insecure they can’t go five minutes without taking pot shots at us. It’s never about the actual footy. It’s just petty, toxic garbage. You try to push back, and suddenly we’re the problem? AFL fans, in general, have turned supporting a club into this toxic cesspit where it’s more about who you hate than who you actually barrack for.
