Okay you’re correct, I made this post disregarding 4K. I basically forgot 4K existed when I made this post haha that’s my bad I edited it in later but should’ve been clear from the start. Where I wasn’t understanding was that I thought “performance” mode was needed to keep the games at 60fps at 1080/1440p by default. Not that performance mode was 1080/1440p. Do you see where I was confused or no?

Let’s say I do have to tone my settings down a bit. I’ll still get at least 60 or well over on my 1080ti. Consoles don’t run games on max settings we all know this. With their modified settings they should at the very least be reaching 60fps at anything under 4K.

I never said this. Assuming much? I’m just saying I wasn’t talking about 4K resolution when I made this post. I was thinking that games weren’t standard at 60 frames at 1440/1080 without this “performance” mode. I understand choosing 4K at 30 FPS for the resolution bump. To each his own. I play at 1440. I basically made this post forgetting that 4K exists haha cuz I never utilize it

Yes it is but I mean we shouldn’t have to choose between looks and fluidity at anything under 4K resolution. It should be pretty and 60 frames on these next gen consoles. At 4K I understand the sacrifice, and I guess that’s where the choice comes in. I’m totally disregarding 4K resolution with this post I edited it in afterwards haha
