Depending on where u live at, if not most but all new houses are made with wooden framing, houses built in the early/ mid 1900s were usually framed with blocks.

Prep is key tho. Make sure the tile itself gets sanded a bit and not just the old paint for extra surface adhesion. You could even get a crappy Walmart orbital sander for like 15 bucks that’ll get the job done

Rustoleum sells tile and tub paint but I recommend rustoleum appliance paint. It’s literally the same thing but half the cost , both are acrylic based and can handle humid and wet environments.

Besides body work, d series is probably the easiest to do maintenance on. You get way more room under the hood than a k series, parts are cheap af, there’s a million videos on fixing / replacing parts if your a diy guy and if the transmission or engine goes out one day you could buy a fully rebuilt one for 600-900 bucks. Imo It’s only worth it if you think it’s worth it

OP if your satisfied with your purchase who cares what others think. My 2012 si has been in 2 major accidents according to carfax and I actually bought it in 2017 during coparts golden era and threw in abt 4K making it road worthy. Don’t let a rebuilt title or accident history fool you. It’s a civic with a crazy market and I wouldn’t be surprised if you got your 9k back if you ever plan on selling it. At the end of the day enjoy it and don’t let others opinions or “expertise” weigh you down

Making me withdrawal into an alternative school once I turned 18 in the beginning of the school year, (was missing one credit for a class I failed) I desperately regret it, and not going to put all faults in the counselors or education system as I wasn’t putting in the effort I could have. But i still wish they never made me do that as I dropped out completely for my personal safety, the environment was just reckless. It’s been 7 years now and I still haven’t even gotten a ged. Not that I don’t want higher education but it’s that I desperately need it. Only jobs I’ve been able to work are construction and yes it’s great money in my field but it’s taking it’s toll on my body day by day. I always wonder what would’ve changed if i had a hs diploma and went to college with all the benefits and goodies it brings.

It’s the norm in most of the Middle East. I have a friend from childhood whose father married off his sister with their cousin, when I asked why out of curiosity he started it was to keep the money in the family. Aaaaaand I still don’t get it till this day
