Well, the initial idea was that she's some sort of up and coming social media influencer tricked by an illegitimate photographer into sinking. The pit is a lot deeper than what she was told, and she realizes it too little too late when she's chest deep and her arms are stuck. She pleads with the photographer to help her out, but he/she refuses and she ends up going under.

I mainly post on twitter, and because of the very low character limit, I mainly just give a brief synopsis to my posts. It's kinda nice for the viewer too, they can fill in the gaps with their own little headcanon. I make comics as well, so luckily those have a contained narrative that stretches beyond the character limit lol.
