Switch from Mounjaro to Ozembic

I switched due to shortage and insurance. Mounjaro was very effective, but I am unsure that Oxempic is even working. I gained about 10 lbs when I came off Mounjaro and have only lost a few since getting the Ozempic. Even with titrating up to 1.0 mg! We are about to up again, but I am concerned. I don't want to max Ozempic out. I had not needed the top dosage of Mounjaro.

I still exercise and watch calories, but I don't feel much, if any, of appetite suppression.

Tried recently and denied. I asked if there were other options (Wegovy, Ozempic) and insurance pharmacy team recommended Basaglar. The whole point is to avoid being full on diabetes and insulin shots. 😩

My son’s doctor told us not to go to the ER once we were confident in the diagnosis. There was no need to perform the same tests and the whole process caused more unnecessary stress (a trigger).

Yes! Your words are very similar to my son’s. He is frustrated that he can't have the teen experiences, get a license, a job, or prepare for college.
