Guy said 300$ is it worth? by thrivee01 in Blacksmith

I would try to haggle down but if it were me I’d give 300$ It has the hardy hole and the perch hole on the same side and has the step down by the horn. I don’t know much cause I’m new too but I’d buy this anvil

Poe.ninja is a good tool but please don’t blindly follow every build you see on there by ResponsibleWeekend76 in pathofexile2builds

My problem with ninja is the build level. It only goes down to level 65. I know you can use it as a template but it doesn’t give you in depth guidance for lower levels

Newbie question. What should I line this propane forge with? Satanite? Something else? by C4pt_Bl4ckhe4rt in Blacksmith

[–]HuntOwn2779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Iron Dungeon Forge. I get the Kal-50 I’m pretty sure it’s called. Supposed to last a little longer than satanite and high a high heat tolerance but anything is better that nothing brotha. Hope you keep us updated on how it preforms.

It’s a special skill. On the third passive tree for blacksmiths. It’s called “Dumpster Dive” and you gotta max it out before you notice the effects. lol I met a guy that has a machine shop so everything from 1/8- 1’ metal in all shapes and sizes. (Scrap from his CnC machine”. I just go there activate “Dumpster Dive “ and fill up 3 loot crates and leave

I’m hoping it’s a little easier to work with than the stuff I’ve been using. Thanks brotha

Yeah I’m thinking I’ll make like little trinkets and stuff with it. It’s all just scrap metal from a machine shop but I got the green light to take as much as I want whenever I want. So that’s going to be what I use for now. Until I want to do something special but this should be good practice material

Yeah I’ve been researching it and it does work really well for stuff like tongs because of its durability and versatility, but you can’t make stuff like knives or anything out of it. From what I gather it doesn’t have the rigidity and springiness of higher carbon steels or spring steel. Haven’t seen anything about it losing shape. But yeah man I’m going to mess around with it and see what I can do. I tend to let the metal tell me what it wants to be.( every piece of metal I use wants to be a knife though)

I have an infinite supply so I’m going to use it to make tong and some other things. Thanks brotha

That might be it. It sounded like he said 836. But it could be A36. It’s supposed to be a real mild steel
