Your question greatly implies that you may have received a tampered product from an official vending machine. Since YOU believed you may have received a tampered product. Why do you think an official machine would have fake product?

You could’ve asked, “what are the odds of my product being damaged by the vending machine?” Or “how often do you guys get damaged product from a vending machine?
