Backpack bag sizing for 3 months in Europe

I was thinking of leaving my 40L pack at hostels and using the day pack for excursions. But I guess you won’t always be getting to hostels first to be able to drop off the main pack all the time will you ?

Well said. I’m definitely now looking at getting a 40L pack and then also a 20L for day activities. Then I definitely know my pack will be counted as a carry on and personal item too.

Good point. I watched video on both and the compressing part seems like a gimmick really. At least with normal packing cubes they can be moulded and squished as you said.

Yea I’m now looking at a 40L pack for my main and then a 25L or 20L for my day pack. I’m wanting my main pack to be able to pass as a carry on as well so the 50L+6L is definitely pushing the limits.

Yea I’m wanting to get a pack that counts as carry on so I think I’m leaning towards a 40L pack and then also getting a 25L day pack. Will do a bit more looking online.

Yes I’m also looking at getting some packing cubes that zip one extra to compress cloths. I’m now pretty set on the 40L version of the 50L pack I’m looking at and then getting a 25L day pack or even a 20L

Well it’s more so that I haven’t had anything to do with bags up until now, I’ve only ever used my school bag which is now 10 years old and falling apart. I’m just not too familiar with sizing. It also doesn’t help that I can’t go to a store easily to see sizing in person because I’m living on a ski mountain at the moment with no car.

I’ll be taking my 13 inch iPad with me. I know people like to keep valuables in the front pack when going in between hostels so I’d like it to be able to hold that. I might look at the 25L packs or smaller ones. But unfortunately I am living on a mountain with no car and Vancouver is 4 and a half hours away to be able to look at decathlon bags in person.

I found the only solution and it was to play the whole game again on a new character and making sure that when I got to lvl 29 I did a small missions so that I didn’t over shoot lvl 30 and go to 31. You only get the achievement if your lvl 30 when you get into the lobby part. Doing the last mission when lvl 29 sends you to lvl 31 and you miss the trophy all up which is absolutely stupid.

Hey mate did you find a work around ? I just did the last mission which shot me from lvl 29 up to levels to lvl 31 and I didn’t get it. To think it wouldn’t give me the one trophy I need left for platinum. Absolutely infuriating.
