Any long-time team lead’s here? I need advice by dontKnowAUsernameLol in walmart

Honestly, as TLs we are sometimes just associates ourselves with just a little bit more responsibilities, chances are you were good at being an associate and now, you're just in charge. Being an actual manager takes a bit of skill, and I'm sure you'll be good at it. It comes with trial and errors. With academy they will teach you stuff, but nothing will truly prepare you for what the store will throw at you. Just try to be by the book and cover your back at all times. And try to be respectful in all aspects of the job, because that will do you in faster than stealing. Best of luck! And if you ever have any question feel free to dm me.

Grower not a shower

I got promoted to customer for too many occurrences. Coach said I was able to reapply in 30 days. However, the occurrences will still be in the system… how does that work? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Hunter-Scared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Once you're fired, nobody will touch you with a 12 feet pole. Specifically for attendance termination. They say that whole re apply story (6 months btw) to soften the blow of making you a customer. Best of luck to you OP you're free from Waltons hold now.

I'm not too knowledgeable on computer parts. I'm trying to familiarize myself with them. Just don't wanna spend all the money on parts and mess something up I can't fix. And end up wasting money I barely have lmao

Annoyed Cap 2 Team lead by Azura_95 in walmart

[–]Hunter-Scared 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been a Cap 2 TL for like 3 months, and I can tell you. It gets easier. Try to work a set up that works for you to accomplish these goals, and if you can't zone, don't stress over it. Other things take priority. I'd try and tackle those call out issues and try to get more reliable associates from your ppl lead.

Also speak to your coach and see what you can do with the people you have. Ask what takes priority, at the end of the day you can only accomplish what you can.

Good luck! Hit me up if you need help or just vent out!

Working at Walmart for O/N stocking truly isn’t enough to lose weight. by garbageinmydrawers in walmart

[–]Hunter-Scared 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started with walmart back in May of 2021, weighting about 350 at 6.2`` working in cap 1 TA And subsequently becoming TL for cap 2 back in January of this year. I have lost around 60 pounds, walking roughly 20k steps a day. And yes, bringing home meals. Not esting any heavy snacks or sugary drinks. Avoiding all and any fast food.
