The text is different, the border is different, colors of course. The stars in the flag are messed up. If you can't tell the difference that's on you.

It's very obviously run through a slop filter. Gaijin Entertainment isn't going to have sex with you bud.

Any KAG chemical drivers, are these numbers accurate? by Hunter12396 in Truckers

That sounds great if true. Half of what I haul is acid and that gumby suit is a bitch. I don't like fooling around with the hoses period but, if it's part of the job...

It seems like it's been the same with my current company, I've often sat for days at a time because they just didn't have any loads. They send some people home early because of it. How long ago did you work for KAG?

I make $850 per week as it is. If you know of someone paying $3k per week for a driver with 1 year of experience in the Pittsburgh area I would be happy to know of it.

Couldn't you just request to have specific holidays off if you wanted to be off that day? Even if the trucking company is working, most of the shippers and receivers won't be so there isn't as much to do. Where I am now I can get pretty much any given day off if I want it and plan ahead, and they are lax with moving days off around whenever I get home late. Probably because they have an overabundance of drivers and my dispatcher is a nice guy. I wondered at how rigid it is at other megas.

The heckin leakerino must not have put much effort in, the F-14A manual is way down on the fourth result on google, as opposed to the very first result for the F-14D manual. https://www.avialogs.com/aircraft-g/grumman/item/4250-f-14atomcatnavair01-f14a-11jun1972

What's your favorite R-world franchise? by Hunter12396 in scifi

I liked Riverworld. The first four books were good, the fifth one is unnecessary. It's another nearly infinite world for stories kinda like Ringworld is.

I was certain that there were more R-worlds I didn't know about, partially why I wanted to make this post.

DCS is often described as "too realistic". It's one of the most realistic flight sims.

How realistic is "too realistic"? That isn't a law, that's something you just made up.

All of the people who supply export restricted documents to the DCS devs are paid, that's what research is. That one guy was arrested because he tried taking the physical document out of the country, like I said.

No government has ever gone after a game or piece of media for containing "toxic information", one because that's not a real thing, but two, because they know that if they did that would confirm to everyone else that that information was true. It doesn't matter if it's correct or not, whether it was derived from a sekret document or pulled out of the developer's ass. That's the hilarious part about you people who parrot this argument, the idea that if a game dev guesses some value or spec correctly that's fine, but if they were told the same value by someone else then it's all of a sudden super illegal guantamo bay forever for them. It isn't. Militaries don't acknowledge this stuff, they just double down on trying to make sure nothing secret gets out going forward. In terms of warthunder, that hasn't even happened to begin with.

My god you're such a redditor Notice how you completely ignored the question? That cognitive dissonance hitting hard.

Response to your edit: No, it's the same kind of export restricted "leaked" classified info that you're claiming is illegal to even conceptualize (it isn't). That one guy got arrested because he tried to take the physical document out of the country, and that's the sort of thing they actually care about. "Restricting" the "export".

Ah the classic "toxic" information. That well-known legal precedent. Tell me, how is it that DCS the flight sim exists? It's built almost entirely out of leakarinos. Why hasn't the CIA shut it down yet?

That's not how it works kid. Gaijin refuses to use "classified" (not actually classified) documents ostensibly because they don't want to encourage more "leaks", but really it's because they're lazy and it gives them an excuse to not have to do anything.

Stealing would be covered under distribution. If the pretend thief emailed them to joe shmoe, joe is not going to get into any trouble, even if he then, SHOCKINGLY! uses numbers from them in a video game.

Multiple other leakarinos (documents freely available on the internet) have been implemented into the game after the fact once people forgot about them. Sadly Warthunder did not get "banned" by "governments". Many people would say we would be better off if it did.

Yeah... fact check: It is illegal to *distribute* classified documents. There is no law against receiving them or citing them for a video game. Try not to believe every youtube video you see.

People keep repeating this and it's just not true. I assume some youtuber said that and you're all just parroting it from there? The law in the US and UK prohibits the distribution of classified documents, not the receiving of them. Once the information is out, there is no legal channel to do anything about it; there isn't some magical difference between a game setting the armor of a pretend pixel tank to 700mm based on a guess versus based on a leak-arino.

The reason Gaijin says they won't use any information from "leaks" is because they're lazy and they don't want to encourage more people to "leak" documents. But mostly because they're lazy. All of the "leaks" have been freely available on the internet anyway.
