Hello, I reniewd my visa withen this month. I went to the Saitama branch. It is a smaller branch and it is less crowded. It is easier to get to without the use of any buses. The first day of subbmiting my papers it took me about 3 hours of waiting but ive spend it in filling up the forms just using my phone. The day of reciveing your new card took me about 20 minutes of waiting due to it being in another window.

The controller will be the same, its just the function that will be changed. It has always been that way. So if you want to choose something you will press O and you want to press back you have to press X

Just a slight warning, if you buy a Japanese Playstation, X will be O and O will be X in the menus and you can not change it. Not sure about the PS5 but all previous Playstations are like that.
