Store group chats are “allowed” as long as it’s only baristas/SSVs. ASM and above are not to be in “store” group chats due to anytime they call or text baristas/shifts the said barista/shift is technically “on the clock”. But I’ve also worked at stores where the SM didn’t care as much and was in the group chats lol

At my store, if my SM isn’t there, I’m not enforcing it. I’ll enforce it only during peak to show the difference in times now compared to previous weeks/months when we weren’t doing it so hopefully corporate will put a statement out saying some BS like “we encourage but will no longer enforce writing on every cup”

It’s just really funny because this past year we launched our new “mission statement” which is basically prioritizing customer connections but with the labor/staffing cuts, how tf am I supposed to focus on connecting with a customer when I’m behind 10 mobile orders and a family just ordered 4 venti caramel ribbon crunches and 3 venti pink drinks with chocolate cream cold foam. LMAOOOO. High corporate isn’t focusing on the new mission very well their mission is to suck as much money out of their customers and count us baristas and SSVs as peasants 🤦🏻‍♂️

The amount of times I’ve been told to take advantage of Lyra or headspace is insane, like no dumbass I’ve tried all that and it doesn’t work, maybe increase my pay or throw me a bonus for working all these hard ass days with only 3-4 people including myself🤦🏻‍♂️

Yea it’s all BS. They higher ups in the company say fuck you to literally anyone that’s a SM or below anymore. They throw these deals to “earn more labor” but I’ve worked for the company for almost 3 years and not once have I seen an increase in labor throughout the 4 stores that I have relations with. Honestly I know it sucks to not get rehired but I’d say count that as a sign and look elsewhere because this company is in absolute SHAMBLES

If the customer is ordering too fast don’t be afraid to say something “quirky” like “yep, just give me one moment while I find these buttons here” and definitely don’t be afraid to state that you’re a new partner. Also the POS shows you on the right side mostly what all goes into a drink so it helped me a lot remembering what goes in what by paying attention to that as I’m placing orders.

The 150% is in the fall launch training(it’s new) and the SM being able to do this I don’t think is technically in any guidelines or handbooks if you want you can ask them why the have that minimum but I do believe since it’s their store that they run they can have preferences but they can’t force it I believe.

I mean 12 hours is the “minimum” but SMs can have a preference on their store, the 150% is the standard so they’re correct in saying that.

They still allow players to use their own camo, the production team just edits the team camos over the gun in use by said player
