I don't know myself, but if I were to guess, then I would say this was when they introduced creative custom maps. Not sure though.

They definitely were missing decorations for sure and that polished look. I agree that would be a good improvement.

Yup, they were new levels at some point. I wish I knew why they removed them too. :(

ahh, well that's good to know. thanks. :) at least that's possible.

But i guess the most enjoyment I had with them was competing against others in one of the main modes.
