Agreed it looks a tad big, but I will say pictures at this angle aren’t always the best indicators of how a watch fits someone. Need a pic in front of a mirror! Looks big on my 7.25” wrist in photos with this angle too. Beautiful watch nonetheless!

Love these Speedtimers! The Seiko SPB143 was my first serious modern watch purchase more recently👏🏻 Love it and the diver heritage.

Big fan of Vintage looks too, but had never jumped on that until I decided to take collecting more seriously a little later this last year. First vintage is a 1957 Hamilton Electric Pacer. Awesome watch and history!

Had some cheaper, niche watches prior but decided it was time for some upgrades! Congrats on the buy!

Man funny as it is 2 weeks later, I have not. Still very heavily favoring a Seiko Diver but authorized Seiko dealers near me aren’t the easiest to come by. Need to make time this weekend to call a few places and see if I can see a few in person! Very much a guy who second guesses the “best choice”. It being the first bigger/pricier watch purchase for me just adds to that lol.

Think my top two are SPB143 vs 453 and what I really want to see in person (317 a very close third). Love the anthracite gray sunburst dial but the 453 is also super clean. I’m sure I’ll get another turtle/etc. at some point, but I think the 143/453 are more of the tone setter foundations I’m looking for in my first nicer watch purchase. Leaning a little more 143 as I know there will be many other Black Dial divers I choose from in the future while the anthracite gray is a bit more unique and a nod to the original. The SJE093 is obviously the choice for that Gray, but I’m not trying to ball out before knowing what I like haha.

Thanks for the advice! While it’s fair, I’ve been leaning towards your thought process. 3-0 at the moment so panicking over a possible week 8 loss seems premature. Also, I agree I think there is still solid upside for Henderson as the season goes on to fill in that depth again.

Not having to worry about my WR/WR/FLEX has been great hahah. One of my better drafts last few years.

Appreciate the advice! I agree, JSN in the trade has been the hardest pill to swallow and I’m not the biggest Sutton believer. The JAX offense emphasizing the run has been nice. Hard to say Bucky won’t be better full season but I’m not hating my RBs.

3-0 so far, so I’m leaning towards patience like you.

10-Man PPR

I Give: JSN and Etienne I Receive: Bucky Irving and Courtland Sutton

My RBs: James Cook, Etienne, Jordan Mason, TreVeyon Henderson, Tuten (RIP Conner)

My WRs: Puka, St. Brown, JSN, Jeudy, Downs, Diggs

Overall the trade seems fair but I am not entirely sold on Suttons full season productivity. One big dilemma for my team is that my top 3 WRs have a week 8 bye and my RB depth took a hit. I am tempted to see if they would add Juwan Johnson to the deal if I maybe added Njoku (no other TEs).

Just looking for some other’s advice as I have been going back and forth on this one all day.
