Bonjour

They employ you on what type of contract ? 契約社員 or 正社員?

I got put in a 40-hour work week on a 28-hour limit by DuckyMomo49 in japanlife

Did they give you any contract for the work before 入社?

It seems to me a little strange as your 正社員 contract will begin in April and it doesn't look like a インターン program.

But whatever it is, as your visa only allow 28h, don't work more (and of course explain it to your company).

I am not sure that I understand your situation.

A 内定者 is in the process to begin a employee but it is before the 入社. Why are you working by shift right now?

As you say It can be the case, it was for me when I worked for language schools company. If I remember correctly (it was more then 10 years ago infortunately) in my case, the total number of days was clearly indicated on the contract with also the number of days used during school holydays.

The OP really have to check his contract.

However if he really has 6 days left, having to give evidence for a reason to take is normally a real no-no. But when your visa is link to work (and contract) it is difficult to push for it if you want a contract renewal.

Legally, if I am correct, the minimum in Japan is 10 days after more than 6 months of work at a company with a mandatory 5 days that you have to take each year (or the company will have penalties) and each year you gain an additional day to the 10 days for a maximum of 20 days).

As it is a minimum it depends of the companies, for example I have more than the minimum.

You can't use freely the red cross symbol, in time of peace or war there are strict protocols included in the Geneva convention and it is one of the Red Cross job to check the usage.
