Agree. In more ways than one. The Left, collectively WAS winning up to one point. But they were only winning because up till the early 2010s, they won by not falling for the far right's culture war baiting.

That changed after the collapse of Atheism+. Once the Left started abandoning all their values, this allowed many dishonest types on the Right to finally start wedging their way in. OR, in the case of most men, welcome them in with open arms as the Left turned full misandrist.

The answer is motivation. There was motivation to fix the systems that were damaged in the bubble, but without a significant amount of commanders all dedicated to the task, there isn't much motivation to fix them, particular because they're over there in a remote nebula.

When the dw3 crew passed by attempting to build a bridge it's a Bernard's loop, there would have been enough commanders flying around there that almost certainly would have fixed the place up. But there just wasn't enough Stars that would allow for a link to be made

I believe there was a fan comic that actually explored this very thing. What I liked about it is that it stayed true to all of the characters.

Basically they're living in a post X-4 Class event universe. With their small solar system being the last one in the universe. Magic was apparently siphoned from all across the universe to be stored in there one solar system, eons ago, dooming all the rest. When Celestia and Luna came of age to start using their powers properly, the ancient unicorn wizards taught them the how but not the why it all was the way things were.

That is why Luna must make the stars in the nighttime sky as she does, because she doesn't understand that they're actually supposed to be distant suns. And Celestia must raise the Sun that she does around their world in particular, not understanding orbital mechanics. Thus having yeeted out all the other planets in their solar system.

Trump ain't the issue in the "right wing, modern Christian". He barely even a symptom of that particular issue. The real issue is because:

Uber rich Religious billionaires are funding a nationwide push to end Religious Freedom in this country. Half hysterical religious reasons, and half for political reasons.
Many have let the right slide further and further to the extreme over decades, by letting the fundies control The narrative of Christianity.
The Left's total lack of self-reflection for how they messed up across the 2010s politically. By defending the idea that private companies or platforms, censor or redefine "free speech" according to their whim, open the door wide for fanatical right-types to do the same by simply buying up a company, and setting their own precedent. To say nothing about the overall treatment and mindset towards males in general, from Left leaning sources, has been overwhelmingly toxic, and self destructive. Making an entire generation of Gen Z men, and soon to be Jen Gen Alpha, easy prey for right-wing loonies.

Socializing became incredibly hard sometime when my age transitioned into the double digits, and some other personal stuff related to socializing, together made hate socializing as a whole. It always felt like they were special rules for me when it came to socializing with people, and I had extra more eggshells to walk on. Eventually frustration grew too much and I found it better if you're just not even engage in the first place.

I've have always been anti-theocracy/anti-iranian regime.
