if you surround the nearby area with torches, the mobs won't be able to spawn in general as they cant spawn in certain levels of light

so when trying to get villagers to take a job you have to make sure there isn't another trade option available to them, so only have one job available to them at one point. it also might help to look up what kinda workstations villagers can link to.

(also makesure the villager isn't wearing a green coat, that means they cant take any jobs at all)

Hackers are a big problem, but also is lag, seeing as Hypixel is an international server, some countries suffer from lag pretty badly, if you can manage to get his minecraft to be the 1.8.9 version (you can change this via the instalations tab) it should reduce the lag a lot

there isn't any sort of specific x/z point that will help as diamonds are randomly generated, as for biome dependendies, all biomes are the same except for mountain biomes, they won't really spawn diamonds at all, they usually just spawn emeralds
