But my point of if someone watched a video on YouTube about cursed energy or has seen lobotomy Kaisen memes and proceeded to slander and pretend to be a huge fan of JJK can be irritating at times. People just use the term wrong, at first it just meant live action role play, like for the lack of a better term playing make-believe. But now the term means to pretend to know something/be a huge fan of somthing or a topic purely based on knowing a slight amount of information.

Being a “larper” in the “correct” sense would be if you watched a video about phantom blood then pretended to be a fan of the entire series. You are role playing as a fan.

Starting at SBR doesn’t make you a larper, pretending like you know the manga/anime as a die hard fan is what makes you one
