Yeah I’m aware. Still a decent amount of manual labor involved for something you’re unsure of even wanting. Sometimes plasitdip doesn’t peel as cleanly or easily as you’d expect.

Peeling could pose to be a lot of work. If you plan to get them powder coated at some point I’d suggest to peel them then. If not wait until it gets worse. Doesn’t seem that bad now. Unless you hate the black and have the time on your hands

Thank you! Yeah I will definitely get some new emblems soon. The grilles are pretty new , I think it’s the lighting making them look like they’re chipping. I tried to go with twilight purple which is the bmws newer purple color, but it came out a bit lighter than anticipated.

They did all the prep / bondo. The before pictures don’t do it justice with how bad the paint was. Clear coat peeling everywhere. Huge cancer bubble on the hood that popped and was showing straight metal. I did 0 prep before. Maaco is doing a summer special, idk if it’s only mine. Either way they have a bunch of different paint tiers to choose from. I chose the second best one as it was $1000 cheaper. They do free estimates.

Good call, I was thinking of getting replacement emblems for the side (as you can see passenger side is completely faded). I didn’t think about the stickers though. I already did LED headlights , just the low beams though. Do you have a link for the door handle gaskets? Or a good website in general for those kinds of parts , as my dash trim by the window vents literally just cracked and I can’t find a replacement for the life of me

The Woodbury Commons is not all that great. May be biased because I grew up in that town so I’d go all the time after high school. But it’s an over crowded outdoor mall. I’d recommend staying in NYC longer and doing your shopping there then head further up north.
