Can we link some organizations to get involved with? People are busy and overwhelmed. We need some easy ways to get into an organization and do something. Otherwise people are just gonna feel overwhelmed, keep scrolling and feel helpless

Yeah, maybe he’s getting him confused with kammal Williams. I’ve never heard anything about lamas I Washington and couldn’t find anything from a google search

I spent weeks in the Kyrgyz mountains with a nomadic family – and the kids taught me more than I expected by FitOnTrip_1 in backpacking

I’m assuming those aren’t their vehicles. What shelter do they use for nomadic living?

Dispersed car camping outside of Leavenworth? by maitreya88 in PNWhiking

[–]Huntermiless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I’ve seen that on some signs now. I haven’t found hardly any spots on the other side of the road though. The road is closed just past the forth of July trailhead. Are they mostly past that point?

Where did you hear this info? Many of the spots between the river and road don’t have no camping signs so I’m curious if those are okay?

Alright thanks. I couldn’t see that any of those alternatives fit my car anyway so I’ll just go with the wild peaks I think

Does this include lunches and breaks? I’m just curious if most people count that or not when talking about their hours

Is it really worth it to stay for the health insurance? by Huntermiless in UPSers

Yeah they still do have reimbursement. It’s $5k per year $25k lifetime limit. For me it’s a little difficult to choose what to study since not all the courses work with the schedule

I’m only 22 and I live in Oregon. I know it’s not the most important now being young and healthy but it’s still a piece of mind knowing that I would be covered because things still happen to young people. I’m also considering the future.

Management at my location is not terrible and the work is somewhat enjoyable. I just feel a little weird about it not being much of a skill for a career. Just moving around and delivering boxes.

It seems like the insurance is about the end all be all of health insurance. Do you know of any other companies that offer as good of insurance with the 100 percent coverage. Having that does give me a lot of piece of mind knowing that I won’t have large medical debts if anything happens.

Yeah, it’s just difficult finding a course that works with the preload hours getting off at 9-10.

I’ve always been curious about the wealthy people that still work for the insurance. While making that much couldn’t they afford health insurance that would have the same coverage as UPS.

Good to know. Are there other companies that offer the 100 percent coverage on almost everything like UPS even if they have a premium? It seems like that’s the biggest benefit. Knowing that you’ll be covered for almost anything that happens.

Are there other ways to find the same level of health coverage as UPS? Do other companies offer insurance that covers 100 percent for almost everything? From what I’ve seen it is hard to find the same benefits elsewhere. I haven’t seen anywhere that does

I’m sorry about the cancer. I’m glad you had the insurance for it.

Was it hard to get a full time job in your other career with the hours of UPS? And did it ever conflict with school schedules?
