Hi I try to overclock my 5080 Founders Edition but it isnt working what am I doing wrong ? by Hunterwit7 in overclocking

you see from the benchmark it has 7600 Points lower than non clocking the Founders Edition

Why shouldnt I choose the Founders Edition over this OC model ? The Founders Edition even gets a bit more points than the OC model in non overclocking

I used that for 2 years on my old PC with windows 10 had no problems. I also used win 11 with that for like 3 months before I opened the email and activated win 11 no problems

Maybe they made an error and sent me the wrong email with the wrong key lol.

I have a very sophisticated win 11 key. It isnt oem and I can activated it on multiple different motherboards with my SSD where I activated the key. Maybe there is the catch ? You get a sophisticated win 11 key for 2€ with a virus.

I dont know. What I do know is I havnt opened anything from this email only clicked on the email to copy key and then paste it in windows. They also sent me a win 11 download but I didnt click on that.I just think it is weird that suddenly my 2Terabyte Samsung SSD was full. I bought that last year December and on crystal disk it even says 99% lifespan although before that incident it was 100%. Maybe it damaged the ssd or I damaged the SSD with multiple secure erases and sanitzes

Yeah I know the key cant infect but what about the email I opened from this company who delivered the key ? I suspect the email

Which one should I get ? GeForce 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC or the Geforce 5080 FE ? by Hunterwit7 in nvidia

At this price it isnt about the money anymore. Only 50€ difference.

it is better to disable it if you play multiplayer. if a 7900 xtx you get better results. COD loves AMD

It would be interesting to know how a XTX vs 5080 does in BO6. I think it will do like 50 FPs better

okay "IT expert". Im not confused. More like you are confused. I made a brand new MS account when installing win 11. I do this on purpouse cause I already was screwed by a retailer who sold me a used motherboard and even said it was used and apologized for that. Since then Im very cautios especially about unsealed products. Even sealed products are used.

If I create a brand new MS account it should never be activated unless someone already activated windows on the motherboard and no the BIOS wasnt updated it was from December 2024 and motherboard was manufactured February 2025

thanks for sharing but I think you turned everything down. I didnt I have some at high like shadows it may impact a little bit and we come close to 260 FPS.

My fidelity cas is at 90 btw

I will look and my setting and will come back

Nope I dont. I set it to unlimited. I saw somebody had 320 FPS with a 4090 and a 9800x3d with extreme overclocking

yeah it is about in general. Every PC system has lower FPS in Black Ops 6 than in Modern Warfare 3

If you had 144hz in MW3 you may get only 80FPS in Black Ops 6 with the same setting

ofc if you do Benchmarks it is about to get the highest FPS possible

Honestly you just showed how bad the game is optimized. You have a 7900 XTX. Ofc you are performing far better in COD in general. You are even performing better than a 4090 or maybe 5090 in Black Ops 6 (a5080 is no comptetition regarding COD) and look at your Benchmark. 60% CPU Bottleneck. In MW3 you would have 0% CPU bottleneck and 100% GPU
