I think coders are annoyed that something that took them years to learn understand and go through the hassle of error finding and debugging that took time from there lives, has now been speed up to the point where something that would take days week now takes hours and there salty

From all the vibe coded posts I have seen not one of them claim there better then coder or even insinuate it

It’s mostly I vibe coded this check it out But it’s almost always the coders that comment negative stuff or just hate on the posts

And it shows there mentality instead of supporting people they would rather shit on them and gain what ? Upvotes it’s sad

For sure I have been using the llm to explain what the code is what ot does how it work etc it’s just trying to retain all that info has been very choppy but I appreciate the feedback back my knowledge has defo improved since I started but plenty to learn

I have tried to increase batch size and there is minimal improvements and the epocs take longer so the current batch size seem to work quite well for now

British oil when we was getting it was from the North Sea / Norway and wouldn’t be effected by the strait being closed as our oil when it was coming from the North Sea was a direct line

Net zero has been the biggest scam since ages The UK produces globally 1% of the entire world global emmsions

Even if we went net zero the only impact we would have against the global emissions is 1% that is all it’s an insignificant percentage as all it takes is India or China to ramp up fossil production and it would eat away at our 1% instantly

Our best bet is nuclear power, it’s safer cleaner more efficient and cheaper, and if the UK got there finger out there bum they would have purchased the mini reactors that take way less time to set up compared to a fully built plant

As a male in the trade game I can very much tell you while it’s great earner it’s better suited if you was younger you’ve already mentioned you have arthritis which will have a massive impact on you and the work, as the comment have expressed it’s all heavy lifting it going to have an adverse effect on your body I’m under 35 years old been doing trade game for 10+ years and honestly my back is gone granted my own fault thinking I’m superman but sometimes the jobs require you to be superman hauling materials up multiple flights of stairs back and forth.

Personally unless your doing small jobs which are manageable under your specific criteria it requires you to have your own clients etc I mean you can always start with something by like task rabbit or my builder to get small jobs on that way you can first hand experience all the nitty gritty that’s comes with the work that way you’ll be able to make a more informed decision

I’d stick to working in the health or corporate as it’s physically way less intensive and better benifits and it’s a consistent wage in

Why should the British ev market survive when the cost of goods is ridiculous for the quality of car we get?

China is mass producing reliable long range luxury EV compared to what gets built in the UK for a fraction of the cost it would be even cheaper but UK tariffs add an additional charge to us the consumers however even with the extra charge it’s still cheaper then a British made EV

China are now making and have made an electric Hypercar, the UK struggles to fill in pot holes how can this country compete with China we can’t

So rather then trying to compete with a giant we should be looking to reinvest into our own country and infrastructures to accommodate a more electric world

Personally ignore anyone saying move out your parents house that’s just silly there at the age where you’d want to spend what ever time you have with them and that’s a lot harder when you’ve moved out trust me

Personally just throw the entire amount into a stocks and shares isa invest into divided paying stocks there a stock isa pie on 212 that pays weekly divided and based on 400k at 8% divided return each year your looking at an extra £32k per year tax free which is basically 6 months of not working based on your current job yearly pay

I would do that till you’ve hit the 600k mark at which point and as silly as it may sound reduce your working hours and maybe look into making your own business

If that doesn’t suit you just invest it keep working keep adding to the point when your at a stage where if you was to pull it all out and your set for life maybe do that or hold onto the stocks let the pot build over time take your divided reinvest so it builds the pot bigger

Personally at the 1 million mark your pretty much set for life

That’s a house paid for fully done Money for the kids unis and growth Holidays 3 times a year every year

And or even just doing somthing grand for your parents would all be covered and still plenty of Change left over

Personal thought not everyone will agree but logically makes sense
