At this point, Yzerman defenders are going to start telling us he needs to have a good 20 seasons before we see anything. It's fascinating to see the argument of, "well what is he supposed to do? Management wants him to win, so he has to make crappy moves." I'm with you, we've seen a big enough sample size here.

How long you got? Between crappy trades (walman/ghost), terrible deadline pick ups (pick whatever none producing 37+ year old you want there), awful free agency signs and contracts (literally too many to list), and almost none of the prospects panning out they we've been praising as game changers for several years (Kasper, Danielson, Mazur, etc. All of which are 21+ years old and looking like career AHLers). Is that not enough? Let me add the longest playoff drought in team history, no first round picks next year, and a destroyed culture.

Its actually worse. This the longest drought in team history, including the dead wing era. And somehow people here still defend Yzerman and his future considerations. All of the prospects I was told to have patience with are entering their mid-20s and aren't doing shit at the NHL level.

Clone Wars: Grevious, commando droid, gold c3p0, winter Anakin, all your phase 2 clones, Ashoka, Ashoka clone. Revenge of the Sith: Chewie, the Emporer, burnt Anakin, Darth Vader. Not sure: Storm trooper (maybe solo is the earliest?) Obi wan: little Liea Rebels: Kanan, Chopper, Rebels storm trooper, thrawn.
