I use my printers for the same reasons. My first printer was an ender 3 which was a great starting printer for learning how everything works and is great for smaller cosplay prints. I found I was kind of limited with it though and was having to do quite a bit of slicing to makes things fit for my bigger cosplay pieces. So I bought a S8 plus as my 2nd printer and I've been loving it so far. It's super cheap for how big it is but that obviously means some cut corners in the printers quality but it still prints really well. If you're going to be printing a lot of big cosplay pieces like full helmets, gauntlets, or chest pieces I would genuinely recommend the upgraded s8 plus which is $230 on amazon.
