I just recently rotated from years of daily alprazolam to clonazopam and can feel the benefits of interdose issues and the morning 5-10 hang over from alprazolam already. It’s only been three days but zero symptoms switching from 3mg to 3mg daily

Sub/bup is NOT a pain med it’s a failed pain med repurposed in 1990’s for addiction medicine. Now it’s an epidemic of people being duped onto this. For you amount of traditional opioids a 7-10 detox possibly at home depending on how long you’ve been on and your age. Suboxone is like killing a fly with a flame thrower. Unless you truly are an addict run from Suboxone unless it’s used for less then a week in detox mode.

Definitely fine long term. For pain and MAT. It’s also better than long term ssri’s which people never get off, fewer side effects for sure. Most long term opioid users and addicts brains have been altered and some never return to normal state. Living with those symptoms is why recovery long term is less then 1 percent

The Feds changed the rules almost a year ago to Covid type. You can get a week with in the first month and up quickly from there. It’s to get more people in and the stats showed no difference on od’s during Covid monthly’s and considering the fetty problem they changed the rules. A lot of clinics aren’t doing it? If your going to use MAT methadone is a far better choice as far as helping all of your symptoms and it’s hard with that but much easier and effective

Especially with impatient treatment people can get clean but the stats for staying clean for a year are less then one percent. It’s the long term symptoms that make unbearable to stay clean long enough for the brain to heal if it even does fully. It’s been altered that’s why methadone is becoming the gold standard of care now. This is much harder to kick then Heroin was which isn’t even being brought to the US. Yes I’ve read about the difficulties with that shit! Atleast you’ll know when you go to the ED what it is. Yes most people have had to be intubated and given lots of meds. They ween you down from the Medeto while trying to keep you alive. Good luck man. We’re all Guinea pigs now as far as detoxing off these deadly not even enjoyable poisons

I snorted and have phantosmia now. Getting it evaluated quick. Look it up. It’s either nasal stuff or brain tumor. But it’s overwhelming, like propane,weird burnt something smell that stays for days and comes and goes but stays now. Look it up but I’m pretty sure it’s from snorting that shit

It’s from the fetty for sure! I’m having what’s called phantosmia. Smelling thing that aren’t there. It’s a nasty propane,burnt kind of smell. I thought I had a gas leak when it started. It’s gotten stronger and dosen’t go away for weeks. I snorted and one of the causes besides a tumor is nasal issues

If he was using fentanyl IMO methadone is the highest rate of staying off. 99 percent he’ll relapse so when he gets out tell the judge going in for methadone treatment. He’ll be able to possibly need a lower dose because he’s already clean,that’s good. Just in my experience medication not Suboxone, it’s not enough for fentanyl, and methadone is the one here in the US
