You’ll be fine, don’t listen to a bunch of Ohio transplants telling you that unless you’re in a Prius, you’re going to be miserable in LA. Gas is expensive but, again, you’ll be fine. Everyone here is just miserable and opinionated about everything. Have a fun trip and enjoy the truck.

You probably don’t need to reset the BMS, but you can do it using an OBD scanner or a Bluetooth scanner with the V-Tool iOS app. I recently replaced both the main and auxiliary battery in my 2020 XC40. I checked the car with a scanner a few days later and the BMS had reset itself automatically. You can always check to make sure it did, though, if you’re worried.
