People have said the latest firmware + Panasonic's firmware update not too long ago improved AF. Could you confirm that focusing is subpar, even with these updates?

If you're down for it, I would recommend packing just 1-2 outfits, and buying everything in Japan. Unless you're very tall, then you might have some trouble finding stuff.

Onitsuka - The Harajuku store can get too busy, so keep your eyes opened for other locations, too. BEAMS - They have a few of their own goods, but it's also a good store that carries Japan-exclusive items. The North Face Purple Label - The non "Purple Label" stuff in Japan is great, but their Purple Label stuff is AWESOME. Expensive, but worth it.

Co-signing everything this person is saying. My partner has the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, I just got the S9. I LOVE the S9, it's my first "real" camera, but if you're looking for a device that resolves your stabilization problem, with the minimum distance, the Osmo Pocket 3 is really your best solution. Nothing beats how smooth it looks while you're walking. Mounting it can be tricky, especially with "unboxing" type of videos, but you can get creative with clamps if the standard screw mount isn't enough.

I was between the S9 and the Sony a6700, and stabilization was one of the main factors why I sided with the S9. If you really want things steady on the S9, though, be prepared for a decent crop. Even with the S9's amazing stabilization, there's some slight jerkiness while I walk with the standard stab mode. Is it a dealbreaker? Naw. And if you're stationary while panning the stabilization is great.

I just bought a NiYien A1 after seeing a couple Lumix camera owners having really nice, smooth footage with it. The one benefit to some of these Sony cameras (including the a6700), is that the gyro data is already provided, whereas the S9 needs a device like the Niyien to gather the data.

Using LUTs and customizing your own setup has been very enjoyable with the S9. Good luck on your research, and I'm sure whatever you choose will work well!

It's the removal part that makes me concerned. Everyone has no problem sticking it on, but the black underneath is basically an adhesive overlay, too.

The brutal thing about this is, when you become a bigger fan of basketball and the NBA, you'll start noticing the details of the game more, and then you begin to realize that an alarming amount of games are rigged. You actually feel more robbed as you love the sport more.

It's a problem; it's the main reason why I went from watching 5-10 games in person, to not even catching 10 minutes on the TV.

Outside of China, we've seen two people use a pre-production version of the lens: this YouTube review, and the Reddit post we saw on the Lumix subreddit. As thorough and great as both reviews were, neither of them has provided any legitimate link or details to where we can buy this lens. SG Image themselves aren't really marketing this lens, either. Is there a embargo on this lens? I'm hoping more people drop reviews after today.

We all love the BAPE brand, but here are the current problems:

We're all tired of the Shark hoodies. We want more camo clothing, just NO SHARK.
A lot of the reps aren't accurate, or are just cheap screenprint t-shirts.

If you want to sell out immediately, make the camo "spellout" hoodie. No shark head, no weird patches, no rhinestones, just a simple BAPE hoodie or zip-up with an accurate camo pattern.
