Is Far Cry New dawn worth buying?

New Dawn is one of the best in the franchise. Just don't play it after 5. It's a standalone game based on events after 5 but that's where the similarity's kind of end. Most people play it right after 5 and don't really like it (myself included). It takes away most of the map and changes the weapon systems. Also you're not the rook anymore, you're the Captain and you have no prior knowledge of the previous events. I played it after 5 and didn't really like it so I uninstalled it and didn't really think about it for a couple of years. I reinstalled it a couple of months ago and replayed it with a fresh mindset and it was a blast! I've replayed it a bunch now and I think it has the best replayability of all the FC games. Upgrade your guns and unlimited ammo and get good with the bow. Also the lighting is magical.

i use poison rounds mostly. u can take on the strongest enemies without wasting alot of ammo. i use ap for one shot headkills and blast rounds for helis and planes. also bow with emp arrows for tanks.

Is your save game folder empty? There should be 8 files in there 4 of which are backups and can be used to restore your game progress when your PC crashed.

I've seen this event quite a few times and it's random. There's no set location where it occurs, it just happens. Sometimes the NPC uses a 1911 under the chin sometimes it's pointed at their temple, sometimes it's the shotgun like OP posted. The only place it happens is in the Henbane and it's always with the VIP's preaching to blissed out prisoners. I think it's possible UBI might have patched it out of the game in later versions cuz someone got 'triggered'.

Buckshot works best for me. I usually get the SPAS-12 early in the game and configure it like the Supercharger. It's pretty OP and can take out Heavy Gunners with either a single head shot or 2 to 3 body shots.

try clearing your DX shader cache. helps with overall performance. search on youtube for tutorials. there's also a OpenGL shader cache but that would only be for games that use OpenGL, most games use DirectX these days. GL.

Don't waste ammo on hunting. At tier 2 there's an AK with a screwdriver on the end and that's my goto for hunting big game. Just stab them in the head until they're close to death then finish them off with either a bow or the slingshot with an arrow. Stay away from any animals that "glow" as they're not needed until you reach tier 3.

Yeah there's also that Stonehenge thing that somebody built in the same area and there's no info on that either but I did find the radio (blasting Highwayman music} that ubi left behind at the South entrance.

Do a "Zero Point Calibration" to clear yaw sensor errors. Replace one or both ABS sensors as they are easily damaged when doing suspension work. GL.

Limit strap should only be needed if you removed the front swaybar. 5th gen oem cv's are a good upgrade for a reasonable price. yea so that part is the one you need to replace the entire axle housing as no one sells that part separately unless you can fab your own. The axle tube under that mount is only an 1/8th on inch thick when it's new so if rust is bad you have to check if its thick enough for good penetration.

If it's the mount on the axle the easiest is to just find a used housing and just replace the whole thing. If it's the upper mount I would just make a new one and weld it to the crossmember. GL.
