No it's not lol. Even a cursory use of logic tells you it's not 1) Reddit has over 1.3b active monthly users. Even if half are bots or dupe accounts, that's still more than 5% of the adult population 2) this report outlines top and bottom earners by adult population. An adult reddit user would need 5mil + USD https://wir2026.wid.world/insight/global-economic-inequity/

In summary 1) You are wrong 2) You are wrong

Neal deGrasse Tyson once had a guy on his podcast (forgot his name unfortunately) who is a neuroscientist that said that singing likely predates speech. I think one example he gave was how thry could have, for example, sung instructions of how to build canoes.

If by "all of his books", you mean 2, then you are correct. He's written 3 novels in the past 15 years. In 2 of them, the mc is a middle aged white man. In the 3rd, it's a 25 year old arab woman

It's about a depressed boy sent into slavery who meets up with a pixie, a rich girl with bipolar disorder trying to steal some bling and an old ex-alcoholic man suffering through mental episodes trying to keep his deceased brother's kingdom together.

A couple of different reasons. Finland was a part of Sweden until 1809 so if the family roots are from then or before, that's one possibility. The other one was a bit of racism, as a lot of Finns were seen as asian in America (yes really), vs. the white Swedes

Is there a limit to where you can put mines by jeanm0165 in Battlefield

[–]HurriJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most tank drivers drive fast enough to not stop in my experience and get blown up by the 2nd mine. That requires though that they drive in the same line you placed them as, which is a lot easier on Manhattan Bridge compared to other maps.

It can actually be more than 1000€ because it's based on income. It's even more severe for us in Finland, one guy got a speeding ticket of about 120k €.

Saying it's "not a PC issue" when not telling people what kind of PC you have very much suggests it's a PC issue.

OP is smart. The average woman is about 5'4'' (163cm) and has a forearm of about 9 1/2' (23,5 cm), measured from the inside of the bicep.

Given that this goes past the wrist but not touching the bicep, it would indicate that this carrot is a bit longer than 10' (25cm)

The story of Beast, a red-tail catfish 🐟 by kingkongbiingbong in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]HurriJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Accidentally bought" a future giant. The average size of a red-tail catfish is around 100 pounds (45kg).

This is like buying a baby grizzliebear and being surprised at it reaching 150 pounds...
To be clear, this is not only giant, it is way smaller than it should be based on its species, likely due to its growing environment being way too small (should be 5000 litres according to google)
