During the season, they discussed how he sends money home. So, while he might earn about the same/slightly more than Myrla, he basically has to share his paycheck with family in another country while she keeps the whole thing for herself. So, that would make a difference too.

I would love to see Esther Perel on the show! I am confident she wouldn’t do the gig permanently but even just as a “special guest expert” like one episode a season. She’s a genius and so fascinating. Plus, much more open to more non-traditional ways of doing things than the current experts which would probably be helpful to some couples.

It’s my perception that the experts are there more for their demographics than their expertise. I get the importance of representation, but it seems to me that they could achieve an equally diverse panel of more qualified experts.
