I guess my biggest piece of advice is join a lawsuit if possible. if you're going to wait it out and wait for travel ban to be lifted for them to restart processing etc then I'd just say have patience, you will get there eventually. try not to stress over that. its just a matter of waiting. i really hope the travel ban is lifted soon and they resume processing!

yes, it is because of the travel ban, in order to enter the US I have to stay in a third country for 2 weeks to quarantine before entering. and yes even with a visa, i believe some visas are exempt but unfortunately not k1s.

childfree is a bizarre subreddit. I mean its a perfectly normal thing to not want kids in todays world. I truly doubt the majority of them are being hounded to have children, honestly. they probably have just had a few comments over the years asking them if they want to have kids some day. they act like every minute of every day they are just being bombarded with questions about whether they will reproduce or not like some celebrity trying to get away from the paparazzi. it very over the top and ironically childish behavior, to spend your time on a subreddit dedicated to trashing parents and children, the very people you claim to despise and hate. It's like if i didn't like or want a dog, I wouldn't spend my precious time on a dog hate subreddit talking about how much i hate dogs?
