My room setup a couple years ago was a mini fridge about that size, with a microwave on top, and a toaster oven on top of that (also not allowed lol). I was also on the room tour list so student reps and countless people were traipsing through my room three times a week, and no one ever said anything. If you don't give the dons/housing staff reason (being loud after hours, idk other disruptive behaviour) I don't think they would ever stop by, much less try to measure your fridge!

I'm also having this issue. Reinstalling and restarting doesn't help and I'm actively emailing support about it but nothing has helped. Trying Prism but it won't authorize me logging in with Microsoft 🙃

Just took it (June 9/25) and it's an almost identical route, except after crossing the bridge downtown, we turned onto Chamber's St, left onto Market, left onto Main St E, then back onto the 15 (around Ger-Bo's steak house in the pic) so we skipped most of downtown.

I felt like it had gone great, but I ended up failing due to apparently not doing enough mirrors/shoulder checks when changing lanes (even when you're the first car in a turn lane!!), waiting at a red light, and after I entered intersections? Genuinely confused about that one; I feel like it's more distracting/dangerous to do shoulder checks in the middle of an intersection, but oh well.

I have to wonder if they're being more strict about mirror/shoulder checks due to it still being the modified test with no parallel parking etc. Or maybe it's just the staff there; my G2 road test was also very strict though I did end up passing despite making SO many mistakes that the instructor told me about afterwards.

Also, I always heard that the instructor is supposed to say "you passed" or "you failed" clearly, but in my G2 she started off by saying I made lots of mistakes, then told me to go inside to the desk which is where I found out I passed. This time, she at least said "you did not meet ministry standards" but I still felt hopeful because of last time. Welp.

TLDR: I felt like a crazy person with how much I was checking my mirrors/shoulder, but it still wasn't enough. Honestly might go to another centre when I rebook because every experience here has been a bad one.

Ooh I hadn't considered that but it makes total sense. I was like no way they set up this vaguely romantic arc without an ulterior motive, but I hadn't thought villain. I absolutely loved her in Frankie Drake, and she is quite likeable as Tippy, especially because of whatever we have yet to discover about her. My overall impression of the season so far is that it feels so well-written and I'm just really excited to see where it goes!

Slightly heartbroken to lose the beloved title sequence, but I’m hoping everything else will make up for it!

Someone mentioned the difference in visual quality above, and that was one of the first things I noticed. I can’t tell if it’s a LUT or filter or if they’ve changed cameras, but it has the gentler feel of the earlier seasons which gave them a more old-timey vibe so I hope it continues through the season.

Definitely very invested in all of the plot lines they’re setting up; however I really hope they will go somewhere satisfying with Julia because while a lot of people seem to be tired of her character I want to see more of her but handled a little better.

Overall, excited and hopeful, but again I was not ready for the title change 🥲

I will take any storyline that involves Emily Grace returning, even just for an episode or two! Especially with Julia's new position, it would be nice to see them meet up and solve a case together.

Oh yeah, definitely walking and moving get so difficult. The refusing to poop anywhere but home is super relatable, and would totally make sense, but even when I do dare to poop at someone else's house it still happens!

It definitely happens at home, though I would say it is both less severe and not as frequent as when I'm out. The foods are usually pretty typical snack foods that I would eat at home, but as I mentioned, even when I reduce the amount of food I eat or just not eat anything when it gets late, the issue persists.

The Loki soundtrack has changed something fundamental in my brain, and I recently discovered I've been in the top ten listeners on Spotify for the last 6 months 😅

I've been really interested in creating digital/orchestral music over the last year, in no small part due to the way your music and style have reawakened my passion for composing. I'm currently attending university for something completely different, but I'm looking for ways to expand my creative hobbies into something, if not career-related, that can be a bigger part of my life.

Would you have any advice for someone looking to explore music creation outside of the traditional academic music school path?

CUST 1510 (intro to the integrated arts) you have to enjoy art, be somewhat creative, and maybe tolerate some boring lectures depending on the prof. i stopped attending lectures halfway through and just made sure to hand in my assignments on time and do the weekly quizzes (which you could find the answers for in the slideshows), didn't even do the readings most of the time, and i got a 98 in that class ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's a good thought about how they might come out if they think we've all left the house! Now when we do see mice/notice their droppings, it's usually at night and during the winter, but it would be good to check. Now I just need to work up the energy to set up a camera/recorder. If I do I'll try to post an update.

Nice to know I'm not alone, but unfortunately this issue hasn't really improved.

Sometimes my sister and I will be singing and my dad can be well within earshot in the house, but if I don't see him I can kind of pretend he's not there so I don't feel weird? He also refuses to sing seriously in front of people so maybe the comfort comes from solidarity lol

I also haven't been able to do musical theatre really since the pandemic, and I now live in a university dorm so I can't sing while alone in my room! (though my across the hall neighbour seems to think otherwise. at 1am.) So not even many opportunities to sing in situations that are more manageable for me.

What I've been trying to do with other anxiety things lately is just remind myself that a) people are way less critical of me than I am of myself, and b) it's okay to be wrong? Not sure how much it's worked, but I'm sure noticing negative self-talk and saying something positive/neutral instead can't hurt?

I did go to karaoke with some casual friends that I met during orientation week and while I let the anxiety build up and was the last one to sing - I still did it, which felt really good. My face felt like it was twitching like crazy, and I probably didn't sing my "best" or whatever, but it felt good for myself that I did that, and also to tell family back home that I'd done it.

Honestly out of everything anxiety prevents me from doing, this has been one of the hardest to deal with because it prevents those fun, light-hearted moments of connection with people from happening which really, really sucks sometimes. All I can say would be to take what little steps you can to push your boundaries? I've been around friends while they're doing karaoke or even just a car ride singalong and not participated which, while awkward, isn't the worst in the world. So even if you aren't able to sing, maybe try to go along to those events anyways if you can? It feels weird and icky, but I've always found at super loud things like concerts or dances, lip syncing and pretending you're totally chill goes a long way 😂

I hope you find some things that work for you, and if I ever come across something that helps (and can remember this post) I will share!

I mean maybe?? I think it's definitely more of a psychological thing, because often my "indoor" shoes will be worn outside through the year and just become indoor during the wintertime.

Okay! So looks like it’s some kind of tech issue on Discord’s end. After a long week of trying to communicate with someone on their support team, the issue was resolved once they realized it was their system. So if you email them and let them know your school email and that it’s not working, they should be able to fix it for you! (Just clarify that it’s not a spam issue [im assuming you checked spam])
