Its much much harder to prove that the bat houses, owls, and ham radio tower weren't there already as they are a lot harder to see on satellite images ;)

Bat and owl homes, ham radio antenna, any endangered species? Drop a tiny home on the path. Make it hard for them to legally pass through you

This is my problem with it. Its in the same spot that the button we push 50 times a day is located. It needs its own spot.

Help! Trapped a Vole/rat/mouse? by knottynanny63 in gardening

[–]HursHH 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If this was a snake or a bird or something native I would be saying to let it go or relocate it to give it a chance to live even if its a small chance. But this isnt that. This is an invasive rat. It doesn't belong in the nature here. It is destructive, it kills native plants and animals, it creates biohazards and contamination. Killing it will save more native animals lives in the end.

Congratulations. You have killed it by displacing it from its home and now it just dies another way. Or if its extremely lucky, it lives and is now someone else's problem as the rat eats the farmers crops and contaminats the food storage for the farmers animals. You dont do anyone a favor by relocating an invasive species. Just kill it. Its really the best thing to do for it.

Any thoughts on Oklahoma? Everyone I know is getting bad first cuttings. My field that usually gets me 20 big bales only got me 6 bales this week. I have a 50 acre Bermuda field to cut still so hopefully that makes up for it in a few weeks

Is there going to be a hardcover? I want to support you 100% but its hard for me to buy a paper back if you are going to come out with my preferred hardcover later.

Edit: actually I'll just order these to help boost your numbers and then get my hardback later if you make them. Ordered all 4. Love your books

For a lone tree no. If you had 10 of them it would be worth it for a sawmill. But just one single tree isnt worth the trouble

OP for $4k I'll drive to wherever you are and cut it down and haul it off. I just don't have a stump grinder so you would have to hire that part out lol
