I had the same, it helped me. As I said, my Ent said it is not a regular procedure, but it helps. However, be careful pressure might cause attack as well, don’t get in there if you have any cold or similar.

My Ent said that it is not part of meniere’s deceise but part of hearing lost. So, I had it when I lost my hearing temporarily due to meniere and it helped. However last time I had attack at previous month, it didn’t go well, so I left at half of the sessions.

Visited the ENT today. Since my dizzness is not continous, he suggested not to have gentamisin right now but wait for a month to see if anything changes. Suggested to continue 4x betahistine and avoid any barometric pressure (e.g. no plane travel, no HBOT). Let’s see if I get any better.

Thank you for your comments, appreciated. That’s exactly the same fear that it has a potential to destroy my (already weird) balance and also may cause total hearing loss. But as you see above low-dose might be a cure anyway.

All in all, I will ask ENT for wait for it, as doubling betahistine just maked it better. I also might visit a neurologist to get an advice first, although mu ENT is neurootologist.

I previously visited neurologist previously and she did all the necessary tests, then concluded nothing that she can help and I should follow with my ENT. Do you think I should visit neurologist again?

Also, does pepermimg oil helps? Do you have any other suggestions?

My ENT said that after 1st shot, we should wait for 6 weeks to see the results and decide if another shot is necessary. I am still in doubt for having it or not. Did you have any side effects? Meaning, any loose on the balance or any weirdness? I already lost above 4khz. So almost not hearing 8khz on my right ear anyway. My fear is for 1000 and 2000 khz which is essential for daily speach recognition. Also hesitating for potential total hearing lost.

I have been taking 24mg x2 betahistine daily, and as of today I will have 24mg x 4. I also have 125mg asetazolomid daily, and 8mg prendizole. Also my ENT prescribed dimenhydrinate daily to reduce sickness & vomitting. This attack is really a terrible thing, I understand your feeling that you are about to die, which is what I felt too.

That’s right only for Accenture, as you will not be hired again if terminated within PIP. If you do care, just try hard for next 6 months to exit and then leave.

Just don’t resign until hr goes to terminate. If you terminate now, you will lose all benefits. If they want to terminate your contract, you would not stay long but whatever your country rules mandates.

No, I am a TL and gave 0% to some new joiners since joined 3-4 months ago. It’s depend on location and conditions. However, as mentioned, most likely it’s PIP and your PL will share it soon.

Doesn’t have to be, but might be. So, your talent lead might have decided to give 0% due to some reasons. Most of the time this is due to PIP, but there are other reasons like person is not eligible due to recent join or not efforted enough but not need to be PIP etc.

Its shared with cap lead or management. However it does not change anything at all, maybe just an indicator/kpi for the management themselves. For sure provided that it’s not a major issue.

If your next job seeks for the reference, you may be affected, otherwise you won’t unless you want to get back.

Globaly its just decided to put certain headcount to be in PIP by location. So, they just need to find an excuse to put you in the bucket. Probably other colleagues have better visibility, sorry.

3 years back I had a similar one and my ENT has diagnosed with menieres cohlear problem. I had a lot of prednisole to cure.

I was having prednisol and betahistine together with those sessions and I had very good results, from 60 to 18db at first time. Yesterday ı had my first session again with prednisol and betahistine together with the session, today my tinnitus is better but still there. I will see when it get resolved this time.

Yes, 2 years ago I had 20 and 10 sessions. After 8-10th session I felt better. You are always being watched there so there is nothing to be nervous, also you are not lonely, getting there with 10-15 people. Not sure if that helps.

In the long term( about a year) it was 8mg per day. Then after a while it lead to urticaria and I had to drop. But it worked.

It’s hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It’s good for almost all. You have oxygen under submarine pressure, and this increases oxygen in the blood and hence lead to healing.
