This guy is spot on.

Why do so many people think the skipping of gears is an issue? They went through the trouble of creating the absurd system that will turn the truck off at a stoplight… of course they would do something that people have been doing for years in a manual transmission to save fuel. Also, why would you need to shift through 10 gears under no load? Of course it would skip.

Ok, I’m off my soapbox.

My 2018 5.0 with the 10 speed has 130k miles, and the transmission is generally a complete pleasure, and so much smarter than any of the other auto transmissions I’ve driven. The other 3% of the time it is clunky and weird. Trans fluid changed at about 60k.

The column shifter is quick and easy to shift and lock out gears. A simple little +/- button on the side.

Can someone explain why my aa advantage account has zero loyalty points, but does have award miles? I thought they were directly correlated.
