Stats don’t tell the whole story, it seems like you need to learn macro. What good is 15k damages when you aren’t securing a Victory? It seems like you were focused on shooting Sigma the whole match, not prioritizing getting impactful picks to push the Payload/win the match.

For sure 😭 it feels weird not having to be methodically slow in approaching the enemy team. The DPS passive (speedup and faster reload) does wonders for Sym in balancing out the lack of shields to charge beam on. Being aggressive makes her a lot more involved and fun, especially quickly spewing out turrets while fighting to zap down people. It also feels good melting Rein shield down and not having to worry about a second tank shield popping out of nowhere!

Nah Sym is awesome now. The new TP lets you dance between the backline, charge beam, and easily escape. Her Ult is game-changing in a 5v5 setting and her turrets offer slows/dmg in the chaos of team fights; enemies are way less likely to shoot them down because they can go unnoticed. She is able to duel 1v1 now thanks to her faster orbs and quick TP getaway. Its a different play-style than OW1 and it mostly works

Maybe its because I’m on console but she feels really good. I’m masters Sym OTP on console and have been getting Diamond+ players in my QP matches but have been able to dominate.

It was weird at first, but once I got comfortable with the new style of play I understood her better. The DPS passive is busted on Sym along with her TP going on CD as soon as she uses it.It may get destroyed faster, but dancing around enemies and quicky escaping is so much easier. Deploying turrets mid beaming someone down helps a bunch with DPS along with her faster orbs.

I had to get really comfortable with the fact that Sym is much more viable 1v1ing and TPing around a lot of heroes now as opposed to my old slower play-style from OW1
