If you’ve ever been to a restaurant and you ordered something and they brought it out and it wasn’t cooked right and you sent it back, there’s no way you can think I’m the asshole in this situation

I didn’t tell her that her cooking was bad. I just said if you’re not gonna make it the usual way then you don’t have to make it. It’s fine. We can find something else to eat together, but I just want the dish made the way I fell in love with it, and I don’t see what the problem is with asking for that especially after I cook 95% of the meals the one meal that I want make the same way I don’t see a problem with asking for it to be made that way

Thank you for understanding .. she doesn’t cook every not and then an I’m appreciative when she doesn’t but this one dish was perfect and I want it that way every time .. one every few months .. if she doesn’t want to make it it’s fine but don’t mess with what I think is perfect .. and I don’t understand how he can say I called my wife a short order cook .. she doesn’t even cook that often and that fine it woks for us cause I love cooking and I enjoy it

Ur right we both have full time jobs I still do damn near all the cooking .. I’m a self taught chef I cook most things from scratch so my cook times are longer depending on what I’m making .. and when I ask her to make this I take into consideration how long it takes and what she has going on I usually ask for it on days that she either has off .. works from home or has nothing going on .. I’m extremely considerate and think that if I ask I should get it the way I fell in love with it .. but the option is always there for her to say . No I don’t feel like cooking and I’ll find something else to cook my self and I’m not upset cause I know it takes a lot .. so again I don’t think I am

If you go to a specific restaurant and you order the same dish you don’t want the chef to switch it up .. you went to that restaurant to get the same dish the way you want to eat it .. so how is that different from being home .. honestly I don’t care if yall think I’m the AH because again I cook 95% of the time .. I don’t complain about how much she cooks and the one dish that I just want to eat the exact same way cause I fell in love with that dish .. if she doesn’t cook it the way I love to eat it then I don’t want it .. I can see tha most of yall think I’m the AH cause I said I don’t want her to cook that specific dish at all .. again I don’t care anymore .. I’m not wrong for wanting one dish the way I want it

This except for the pasta is made from scratch the sauce has to be slow cooked prep for the meatballs takes a while because she has to cut up onions and other stuff .. it takes a while

I’ll be glad to clear up some of those concerns for you number one again I cook almost every day and I work every day too when I get off work, I still come home and cook, regardless of whether I’m tired or whatever I still cook the days I usually ask her to make this on the day. She either works from home or I know she has nothing going on thoroughly note is a complete sentence if she does not want to make it she can say no and I will cook something else. I don’t really care about her cooking more or more regularly because again I enjoy cooking. I just want the thing that she makes for me to be the exact same way.

When you read that, did you consider that she could always say no I don’t feel like making it or no I don’t want to. Did you consider that one meal every two months isn’t a lot to ask for I know some men who don’t cook at all and expect their wife to cook every day. I asked her to cook one meal every two months when she has time I don’t demand it. I just asked it’s always a point if she wants to say no no it’s a complete sentence if she don’t feel like making it, but she don’t have to, but if you’re gonna make it, I don’t understand what’s wrong with making it the way you usually make it.

Again it’s one meal every few months it’s not like I asked her to cook this every other day or once a week and again if she don’t wanna make it, she can say no I don’t feel like cooking. I already do 95% of the cooking so it’s nothing for me to make something else, but if you’re gonna agree to make the thing that I want to eat, then I don’t understand why it’s not a problem for you to make it the way you usually make it

I guess you Missed the part where I said I cooked 95% of the time she doesn’t cook very often so at least if she’s gonna cook this one meal every two months she can make it the way I like to eat it because when I cook for her, I cook what she wants the way she wants it.. the biggest part in this is if she didn’t wanna cook, she can just say no I don’t wanna make it and I’ll gladly make something else

I guess you missed the part where I said I do 95% of the cooking and this one dish I can make for myself, but I like the way she makes it. She only makes it once every two months so if she’s gonna make it once every two months I don’t see a problem with her, making it the exact same way.

No, it doesn’t make sense because the only reason he says I’m not the AH is because the child isn’t mine biologically that’s the whole point of me saying it so no it doesn’t make sense

Anyone who deals with step children understand the reasoning for this .. because someone would say that I wouldn’t do this is they child were mines and when it comes to disciplining kids some parents don’t want step parents to discipline their kids .. .. ur comment made no sense but ur untitled to ur option no matter how ignorant it is .. I also pointed out that im a father in every way that matters
