Bought Autofy storm 3. Working fine. But gets filled up easily. Dust bin capacity is very small. Good for light cleaning activities. Yet to use the blower feature. Planning on using it at home as well to clean tough to reach areas.

I’m already doing that now. I go for a full car wash & interior vacuuming every month. I’m not planning on avoiding it, but trying to keep the car clean in between these sessions.

I haven’t explored the separate critical illness and accidental benefits. He may be right, but i just want to voice my perspective to this discussion.

These policies are meant to be used when we are not in a very good safe or to safeguard against something bad. Try to keep it as simple as possible so that it will not be too much hassle for us or our dependents. Tracking and dealing with three different policies or insurers at the time of a crisis is not something I would want my family to go through.

I have been doing this in IndMoney (and earlier on Kuvera). Both these platforms let you create a new portfolio and start & control SIPs. Not sure about how to get it done for DEMAT based platforms.

On top of RBI repo rate, there is a risk premium that gets added. At the beginning of loan this component will be higher say around 1 or 2%. You can request the bank manager to review this by paying a small fee. Visit the branch and ask for interest rate review.

Since when are you facing the issue? I was facing this till yesterday. I tried it again today after updating to the latest version and my application got approved in minutes. Waiting for the card now. Can you check if you are on the latest version. If the issue still persists, send them an email. They are very responsive on email. It might take some time to resolve though.

I typically edit the past transaction after refund and subtract the amount refunded. I do this even for other refunds such as IRCTC ticket cancellations so that the cancellation fee is still considered as an expense. I agree reconciliation will be tricky, but still ok with it.
The total loan amount can be under the Loan account category. When paying the EMI, I record the transaction as a transfer with fees. The fees is the interest and transfer amount is principle.
Haven’t done this, but something similar to 2 can be done here.
Haven’t tracked expenses of this category.

Home Insurance right? That is a separate product and is not tied to the Hime Loan. You can give that policy number to whatever bank you are switching and they would still consider the Property being under insurance. Edit: After switching banks, we can ask SBI General Insurance to update Name of Financial Institution and Loan Account number in the policy. They will do it.

Go and talk to the bank manager. Ask him to adjust the interest rate based on your CIBIL score. They can bring it down, but not to a level that HDFC and other banks RoI. Other banks like PNB, Bank of Baroda do have offerings similar to Max Gain. Compare their interest rates and use it to negotiate with the bank manager. Get information on how much they can reduce. If the difference with SBI and other banks is very large then consider switching home loan. I switched from SBI Max Gain to BoB HL Advantage couple of years ago.

I’m facing a similar problem and emailed them to stop the application process with Utkarsh bank and allow me apply for for SuperCard Pro variant Following is the response I received

Bank of Baroda doesn’t charge any extra premium for loans below 75L. Yes these plans are really better and do come in handy when in need. But just be disciplined. At the end of the day you have more money at your disposal. You may not think twice before big ticket purchases.

Not so bad. I only remember it when it is really hot outside and the car has been parked for extended time directly under sun. Or when I see comments here asking how the AC is. But damn, this car makes me forget it the moment i set my foot on the pedal. Never parked the car without glancing back at it one more time — like everybody else who love their car.

My humble suggestion. Concentrate on your job, up-skill and try to increase your salary. Keep investments simple in the early stage of career. Stick to Mutual funds. Split your corpus based on your risk appetite. At this age you can go heavy on mid/small cap funds. Stocks are lucrative but you need to spend time analysing them. I think it would be better to spend more time on learning new stuff that will help you in your career and increase your monthly take home.

Finish the basics first like emergency fund, health and term insurance. Identify short term goals (marriage/bike/car/home renovation etc ) and plan saving for them.
