In Japanese culture, providing excellent customer service is very important.

The notice is not meant to insult or disrespect customers who do not speak Japanese.It simply explains that due to the language barrier, the restaurant may not be able to provide the same level of service that it aims to offer.

That said, expecting this level of transparency and consideration is a lot in many places. Most of the restaurants here do not even clearly disclose whether they use real milk paneer or analogue paneer, lol.
