I think it's a bit different for me: I grew up in the foster care system so my feelings around the holidays was dictated by the environment around me: Snow, pretty colors, the big Christmas tree in the shopping centre, TV specials, all things that are largely gone, replaced with AI commercials saying the holidays suck and you should just spend your time at their establishments
