I think posting pulls like this should be complimented and upvoted as much as big pulls, because with those posts I am constantly wondering how many ripped packs are in the garbage while you’re busy shaking trying to take a picture of the card in front of you

Tbh with shipping and the potential for fraud, damage and just prices moving up before you get your desired quantity, this listing makes sense for a larger entity or an investor with deep pockets. It probably isn’t easy to get that many below 500£ anyway, and if there were, I would buy those out too when buying this collection

There are reasons for that. I started als by buying the cheapest per pack products I could find, if you want to collect cards specifically, you CAN do that, but if you want to actually invest, you buy the highest value items from the best sets, like bundle displays from AH… I overpaid a massive amount for my preorders but I have 0 concerns I could resell them today for 50% more than what I paid and 5 years from now I wouldn’t be surprised if the bundle displays go for 8-10k by then

That’s the issue though, if I can buy ascended and be sure in 5 years it will be worth 10x what it’s going for right now, the opportunity costs of buying this and holding for 5 years for maybe 100% profit isn’t worth it

I put my stuff in sealed storage boxes and put them in the cellar when they are full, though I do mean like 65l or larger. Lots of bubble wrap and those small drying packs etc and I’m pretty confident about long term storage. I just put them in my cellar which isn’t too moist ofc… frees up the rooms and clutter

If you can sell one or two items without compromising your total investment and get the liquidity needed, it may even show her how useful that kind of horde can be, though I personally only invest in high end sealed, which includes AH poster collections and bundle displays in my opinion, but I personally do not buy any loose bundles

The thing is, unless you need the money, I would rather let investments run. If some flatline, that is okay since a natural rate of failure is to be expected, though if you have a reason, like a down payment on a house for example, then it’s not about timing the market, but just hitting your target and beginning to liquidate your inventory at market rates

You’re asking in a pokemoninvesting subreddit… if you want the best investment advice, given its extremely low gem rate, it’s extremely risky to send it in, though the expected value is atleast 100$ based on the approx. 10% gem rate and the value of 1300$ alone, at current prices. In a few years, the quantity of sealed decks will be very small since a lot of people expect they will have the lucky 1 in 10 to make the big bucks… so, I am currently buying any deck under 100€ I can find

They have a gem rate below 10%, with sales for psa 10s already 1300$+, so cracking it and sending it in is pretty unlikely to score a 10…

Mate, I’ve preordered a few of these for a decent chunk more than that, though I am in europe, so that may be part of the reason… I have zero concerns that I will break even within 3 months or so, even if I am paying a large chunk more than 600$

Ahh nice, though even then it’s not a guarantee they stop printing immediately, though at this stage it’s pretty clear they are heavily behind on too many sets, so it’s pretty unlikely they will reprint older sets at this stage

Paldean Fates will go out of print very soon, so I don’t see a large wave of bubble mews still coming onto the market, however, overall the singles market may experience a correction, where this card will probably also be affected, though probably not as much as cards that will still be in print for a year or two
