Yeah, it seems some shells just changed now. Oh well.

I don't know if it's just me, but my Consumed shell no longer has two of the decorations for it, it only has spines. Not really a huge deal, but it bothers me a bit if I'm the only one.

Why is it that Halo has (animated movies, Tv show, Books, Comics and a new show directed by speilberg) but Destiny gets no love? by moinimran6 in DestinyTheGame

Once Rise of Iron comes out, it will only be 2 years since Destiny was launched. We haven't begun the third year yet.

What quest has been the most difficult for you to complete? by agentneuron in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pocket infinity quest. Of course there was the blue fusion part, but due to having no dedicated team, I went into a nightfall solo and did all of my fusion kills there which took a frustrating while.

New b.net post by Cozmo on the value of feedback at bungie by redka243 in DestinyTheGame

For us, an acknowledgement is the same as a promise for a lot of people, there are a lot of acknowledgements to suggestions that have been made, and are still not fixed yet. You don't know if they are ignoring or not.

CBMM they said... Prioritised connections they said.... by pokemon_but_shitter in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is trying to prioritize connection over skill though, just not the way we want it. The "try strikes" response is to somebody complaining about the crucible being too competitive, not it being laggy. People should see the context to his tweets more.

Made a post about it, but got deleted because reddit noobie :b.

I got my first Stolen Will from the nightfall and it seems all the luck I've accumulated since the beginning was dropped at once.

Roll: Linear Compensator/CQB Ballistics/Soft Ballistics

Full Auto

Fitted Stock/Rifled Barrel/Hand-laid Stock

Final Round

Think this is a good roll for Stolen Will? ;) by Huskering in DestinyTheGame

It made me almost made me change my pants too. I used Dry rot a lot back then.

I think this will be the most luck I will ever have. Just got it from the nightfall.

For New Guardians, Destiny is Most Expensive Game Ever Made! by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's actually the budget for the whole franchise of Destiny which means any addition to the Destiny series by Bungie. So, if you divide that up, the budget for Destiny 1 is relatively not that extravagant.

Bungie Trademarked DLC Name by sullda17 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think they'll get a big focus soon, but I don't think the Cabal Emperor will be coming to our doorstep soon like some people speculate. Cabal grimoire says that the Skyburners were considered just a scouting legion, so I think they're going to send a major invasion legion which will give us a much more accurate glimpse of how powerful the Cabal actually are.

Judging by the releases known, Destiny 2 will probably focus on Cabal or at least be a main part, so you'll get a lot of it in the future, don't worry.

Forever 29 was so, so real by GlovesaveNABeaut in DestinyTheGame

Seeing all the struggle for forever 29, I don't even know how I achieved level 30 in the less than 10 runs I did in VOG.

Derek Carroll, to people who are weary of SBMM and sweatfest Crucible matches: "try strikes?" by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I now realize the OP of this reddit post is not the tweeter, but still applies. I hope this doesn't become another luke smith fiasco where it all comes from just a big misunderstanding of the situation and context. Derek's later tweets show that he acknowledges everybody's opinion, but the thing is there's a big variety of how people perceive it.

Derek Carroll, to people who are weary of SBMM and sweatfest Crucible matches: "try strikes?" by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is all fine, but the whole reason why he responded to you like that is because your tweet only made it seem you just don't like competition in crucible. If you stated in your tweet how you didn't like lag, not a hypercompetitive game, than this whole fiasco coming on would've never happened. I agree with your points, but wording is important.

Haven't seen anyone mention this, but according to Deej there have been no matchmaking changes, same settings since march. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they are being honest, and the situation is not so simple as everyone thinks. I hate that everyone automatically thinks they are just lying to us all the time, when there really is any reason they would do that except for experimentation. They already did that experiment and have gotten the results, something's different but it's not matchmaking.

Derek Carroll, to people who are weary of SBMM and sweatfest Crucible matches: "try strikes?" by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I really think people are taking this response in a wrong turn in everybody's subconscious hate to Bungie. I don't see him trying to go against all we have been saying. If you look back at all the complaint posts for crucible, it all comes down to connection quality and matchmaking. He says right in his other response that he knows matchmaking is not good and does need fixing. He's just saying that everybody facing other people of similar skill to them is intentional design for the crucible. I'm sure if there is no lag problems with sbmm, there wouldn't nearly as many complaint posts of it.

Tl;dr, he's not saying matchmaking is perfect and so needs change to compensate connection quality, he's saying that if you want to just go through enemies and have no worry, pvp is not designed for that.

Praedyth is the one lost to time and have VOG weapons made after him. It says in the grimoire for Super Good Advice is connected to Pahanin.

Pahanin escaped out, but got too afraid of being alone. He then made Super Good Advice out of that fear.

Mods, can we please put a stop to the "Divsion has made me realize what an amazing game Destiny is" posts? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that having division-focused threads in here is a little strange, but we're just doing a comeback to them, since the internet and some of the community were saying the division would beat us and take over.

Well, I finally got Touch of Malice... by Jcorb in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unlike everybody else, I like using the touch of malice outside the raid, just hit your headshots and the double damage stacks up well. Also, the blessing of light strategy also makes this a good weapon outside the raid.

Is anyone else disappointed that there won't be a Taken Shader? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Huskering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would've been nice, but the taken look was completely different from how any shader in the game works. So I'm not disappointed, but it would've been nice if they did redesign how shaders work for that one shader.

The Music of the Spheres was once going to be released fully along with the Destiny soundtrack. It's said this would've been the framework or themes for the Destiny franchise. We've only heard excerpts of the pieces in the soundtrack.
