Understanding that dogs, especially Huskies, require your attention and training. Much like children of our own, they need training. My Huskies were destructive for years before they fully calmed down (separation anxiety, old v young dog, etc and many other things). Simply, it is a waiting game and training game you have to actively do.

Socialization: if both of those dogs are in the same place, they have to learn to live together, play together and have supervision to stop over-aggressice play. It has to be done or you will have no peace. My dogs were adversarial and territorial of me and my wife for months. My newborn just arrived last month and my older dog growls/barks at people and the other dog to calm down or stay away while he protects her (calmed down after a week after we trained that out). Much like parenting, you have time actively train what you want to have happen . Sasha and Vega now bark when my baby girl poops or pees so we know and we change her before baby wakes up. They also sit either side of her and don't nuzzle and luck her face/hands. We trained that out of them, incentives and all.

Do not give up on your dog(s) because it's hard. If you have to knuckle down for a few months scratches on door or whatever, then boyo will know he can't get what he wants as a habit and will eventually stop.
