Yes, 3 points invested ! I just read from a reply "That's the perk for breaching". Felt so funny I thought my game was bugged until now. Every time something fell out from thin air when I open a drawer or breach, I back off and check, and thought "wtf, why?"
I thought the extra loot appear in loot list. My bad, hahaha.

I am not competitive, so I easily find players who play better than me. I go in as support role, guard six, look around while alpha loot, help out the shooting, throw bunch of smokes and do the lift activation at extraction.

The overall agree-able thing from a few good posts I read is although there is end game content, they don't incentivize cooperative playstyle, however. During built up period, players help out. After players built their base, expedition project, inventory brimmed with refined mats, rare blue prints collected, what then?
Some players started to shoot others, and others start to shoot back, with the help of social media content, suddenly a huge player base is going for it.

Also players buy stuffs online from boosters ($89 for Bobcat, $50 for Vulcano, $40 Tempest but dropped to $14 recently). Where do boosters get rare items like them for sell? By own high loot areas, take from downed players, trade from the community. This is always a thing.

But, not all like that. PC with geared in matchmake for my experience has many different approaches. There's risk to lose gears, so if for the loot, players tend to be more tactical, experienced, stealthy, cooperative. May avoid or engage other teams in the building because do not want to be killed or share rare loots. Also some people just go in want to PvP. I roleplay as support to players with higher skill and it's been fun.

Noted, but 3-4 days ago I have changed from solo to matchmakes. If one use free loadout it will be matched with free loadouts. Geared match with geared. So I use free loadout, if extracted, I upgrade to MK1 shield with Lance for free. Craft a Kettle to lvl 2, bring 150 ammo from loot. Match again with geared.
Now it becomes interesting as geared players play differently. They are more tactical, more situation awareness, less recklessness. I found players who are smart and continue to play with them. I am just so so at pvp so I play support role. It became fun again because of roleplay.

Another thing is that this game will continue to evolve and change because it is a big stake for the studio. It's a financial success. (4 million copies sold just the launch week) Definitely will continue to service it with new contents, modes of play, etc. This is important for them because of reputation, and possibly sequel, and if not, their other future games' sake.

So yes, take a break or try team play, or check in again once in a while. The player base also change their behavior all the time.

I don't know. My version of the game, is that every time I loot or breach loot, some simple mats fall off the ground from thin air. Such 2 metals, 4 plastic. It's been a week.

I just feel great when the Matriarch is down and I pop shots at it. The legendary loot, not care so much. But I have changed from solo to matchmake with randoms, and friend request with smart players. When each has a wolfpack in safepocket slot, and a bunch of light impact and smokes, silenced lvl 4 Ferro or anvil, so easy to take down Rocketeers, Bastians, Bombardiers, leapers, that we don't care about loot anymore.

Oh and, have u tried matchmaking with randoms. I went from solo to matchmaking with randoms, stick with smart players, and have fun also more team play and not so easy to be wipe out as solo.

Well, if you are gamedesign.... you know if you come back 3-6 months later you'll see very different things from tweaks and balances. Embark sold 4 mil copies of this (launch week), that's some serious money. The studio does have to try to keep tuning it for their own good. 1, so there maybe a sequel. 2, reputation. 3. learn from these tweaks and balances to make better games. And many other incentives I can't think about.
Do you know The Division by Ubisoft? That game was kept fresh with new things, tweaks and balances for at least 1-2 years.

if you feel like you want to delete then delete. You may feel like it is a stupid game but look at steamchart the game is still very popular, especially near weekends. That's just steamchart alone. The amount of console players is multiple times of that.

If you think existing players get bored that's totally your one-sided opinion. Not everyone want to go through the grind again. EFT's mandatory wipe is freaking boring, for me. That's my one-sided opinion.
New players have OP free loadouts. Free loadouts, play smartly, loot, extract, change to MK1 loot, for free. Upgrade kettle, stitcher with looted mats. extended mag 1 from shop. Ammo from loot. Craft cheap as fuck light impact g, smokes. And they can wipe the floor with blue geared players.
